The FLOW Method (4).png

ARE YOU CONFUSED ABOUT HOW TO PREVENT HEART ATTACKS AND STROKES?

WHAT IS THE BEST DIET TO PREVENT THEM?

SHOULD YOU CARE ABOUT CHOLESTEROL?

ARE SUPPLEMENTS EFFECTIVE?

WHEN SHOULD STATINS (OR ALTERNATIVES) BE CONSIDERED?

(AND IF SO, WHICH ONES AND HOW MUCH?)

WHAT OTHER THINGS CAN BE DONE TO REDUCE RISK?

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF THE TREATMENTS YOU ARE DOING ARE WORKING?

IF YOU ELECT TO FORGO CERTAIN TREATMENTS, HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU'RE OK?

It seems with each passing day I am asked these questions and more, by more and more people. The confusion out there is rampant, and some people are literally being harmed by following the wrong information. This scenario has prompted me to create The F.L.O.W. Method program, which is my best effort to present all the information I could hope for anyone, in any state of cardiovascular health, to know in order to thrive, and significantly reduce risk for heart attacks and strokes.

I have spent the last 12 years of my 25 year medical practice learning and implementing everything I can in the vast and complicated world of integrative preventive cardiology, and I want to share what I have learned about preventing heart attacks, strokes, and the most common cause of death in this world with you!

Program Components:

  • Weekly recorded lecture by Dr. Chong covering a variety of topics in cardiovascular disease including underlying causes, lab tests, imaging options, drug-free treatments, and common medications. In total, over 15 hours of detailed lectures are distributed over the course of the 6 week program.

  • 6 weekly, 90 minute LIVE Q&A group Zoom sessions with Dr. Chong to discuss what you’re learning & implementing from the lectures (also recorded for later viewing if needed). Past attendees state again and again this is the most valuable part of the course!

  • 30 min private "get to know you consult" with Dr. Chong to discuss your health circumstances and goals

  • The F.L.O.W. Method Resource Manual with links and ideas for all my favorite books, podcasts, health promoting products, etc.

  • The F.L.O.W. Method Eating Guide for Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention

  • Lifetime Discounts On:

    • One on one private consults with Dr. Chong

    • Recommended Supplements

Breakdown of Each Lecture:

  1. Introduction

    • The what and why of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (plaque in arteries).

    • You need better than you are getting from the medical system and this program is designed to give that to you.

    • An intro to The F.L.O.W. Method

  2. F.OOD (part 1)

    • A deep dive into diet and cardiovascular health.

    • What works. What doesn't. How to design an eating plan for your individual level of heart health and risk.

  3. F.OOD (part 2)

    • Part 2 of this most important of topics

  4. L.IFESTYLE

    • Living well for cardiovascular health goes beyond just eating well.

    • Other daily habits that can also have a tremendous impact.

    • The hardest part is knowing which are mostly likely to help you.

    • In this section I review the most effective, practical habits you can build in your daily life to complement your dietary efforts, for an even more potent cardioprotective effect.

  5. O.PTIMIZE

    • Often times, eating and living well can be sufficient to prevent heart attacks and strokes, but unfortunately not always.

    • Many factors from motivation to other personal situations that can keep people from being able to implement enough in their daily lives to prevent problems.

    • Sometimes people can literally do everything correctly, but still get worse if genetics are playing a strong enough role.

    • In this crucial section, I review important ways to individualize your situation and learn what additional tools you might need to help make the most of your efforts.

    • This section will include a detailed evaluation of the most commonly recommend supplements and medications to help support heart health, and I will give my direct opinion on what the most likely effective options are, when I feel it is appropriate to use them, and how best to do that.

  6. W.ATCH for change

    • Once you have a plan set that we hope will help you, we don't want to just cross our fingers!

    • There are many tools available, via lab testing and imaging, to help you assess where your risk is at today, and even more importantly, how your body is responding to the treatments you are doing.

    • There is not near enough emphasis in this area in the conventional medical world. We have the tools available to know so much more. We just have to know what they are, how to implement them, and most importantly, how to access them.

    • This section will tell you what you need to know to see how your efforts are paying off.
